A diagnostic technique in which the combined use of a computer &
x-rays passed through the body at different angles produces clear
cross-sectional images of the tissue being examined.
It provides clearer & more detailes information
than x-rays used by themselves.
You lie on a table, & the CT scan shoots x-rays
around the periphery of an organ or part of the body.
